We are hiring: Yellow Mealworm Pet Nutrition Sector- Head of Sales & Business Development (U.S. & Canada)

 

As sustainable ingredients reshape the pet industry, Uniphoenix Group is expanding its portfolio of yellow mealworm-based pet proteins and supplements into the U.S. and Canadian markets.

 

We are seeking a Toronto-based(preferred), strategic leader to lead sales growth, market development, and regulatory execution across North America about yellow mealworm- based pet proteins — in a hybrid (in-person + remote) role.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the North American go-to-market strategy for insect-based pet nutrition

• Identify and close B2B partnerships in pet food, treats, and supplements

• Lead product compliance and regulatory submissions (FDA, CFIA, AAFCO, etc.)

• Represent Uniphoenix at trade shows, conferences, and industry associations

✅ Who You Are

• 5+ years in pet food, functional ingredients, or animal nutrition sales or regulatory roles

• Hands-on experience with North American regulatory frameworks (especially FDA/AAFCO/CFIA)

• Strong network in the pet food or supplement industry

• Entrepreneurial, agile, and mission-driven

• Fluent in English; Toronto-based preferred
