Yue Q. Yu, Ph.D.

Founder

Global Sourcing and Strategy

​Yue is the Founder of Uniphoenix Group, where she leads global sourcing, cross-border strategy, and international business development.

 

Prior to that, she was a Partner and founding member of Brunswick Group’s China office, advising Fortune Global 500 clients on IPOs, cross-border M&A, and international expansion. ​​She also served as Co-Chairwoman of the MarCom Committee at AmCham China (2019–2022), where she led communications initiatives that connected private-sector priorities with broader policy and business dynamics during a time of significant geopolitical change.

Now based in Toronto with her two daughters, Yue brings a cross-cultural lens and an entrepreneurial spirit to international business and policy. Her work bridges institutions, markets, and strategies—driving breakthrough ideas and long-term value across borders through integrated planning, partnership design, and systems thinking.

​Yue holds an Executive MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. in International Relations from the joint Peking University (China) –Waseda University (Japan) program.

Wallace Q. Feng, Ph.D.

E-Commerce & Supply Chain

Wallace is responsible for leading Uniphoenix Group’s e-commerce strategy and end-to-end supply chain operations across both domestic and international markets.

 

Prior to this role, he served as Vice President of JD.com and Head of Public Business at JD Retail, where he oversaw large-scale retail operations, drove digital transformation, and led partnerships with public sector stakeholders.

 

Now, he also serves as Secretary-General of the China Food Industry Association Think Tank. Working with local governments and industry partners, he helps connect production regions more directly to national and cross-border logistics networks—reducing fragmentation and enabling broader regional participation in global trade.

 

Wallace holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from a joint program between Peking University and Waseda University.

 

Outside of work, Wallace enjoys reading in the fields of psychology and philosophy, exploring the deeper connections between systems, people, and decision-making.
