Toronto, Canada - May 2026 - Uniphoenix Group Inc. participated in Toronto Trade Show 2026 (第二届多伦多商品交易会暨加中企业出海博览会), joining businesses, distributors, manufacturers, and supply chain partners from across Canada and China for two days of practical business dialogue and long-term partnership development.

At this year's event, Uniphoenix presented selected seafood snack products from our partners — part of our active work connecting quality products with Canadian retail and distribution channels, while engaging with industry partners from both markets.

A different approach to cross-market business

Cross-market business between North America and China is often treated as a logistics problem — find a supplier, find a buyer, move the goods. Uniphoenix is built around a different premise: that sustainable commercial outcomes depend on genuine market understanding on both sides, and on the kind of structural thinking that goes beyond any single transaction.

Our work spans cross-market commercial architecture design and implementation: helping brands and manufacturers think through how they enter a new market, how they position, how they build distribution, and how they structure commercial relationships that hold up over time. This includes channel development and retail partnerships in Canada, and access to China's consumer market through platforms including JD Worldwide (京东全球购) — but the channel is rarely the hardest part. The harder work is understanding what each market actually requires, and building accordingly.

We work across categories including food, pet food, and consumer products, with partners ranging from early-stage market entrants to established brands looking to restructure how they operate across borders. In every case, the starting point is the same: a clear-eyed view of both markets, and a commercial structure designed to last.

Toronto Trade Show 2026 brought together businesses at different stages of that journey. We came away with conversations worth continuing — and a clearer picture of where cross-market opportunity is developing across food, consumer goods, and supply chain.

Across Borders. Into Markets.

Uniphoenix Showcases Dual-Engine Cross-Border Strategy at Inaugural Toronto Trade Show & Canada-China Business Expo

Toronto, Canada – September 2025 – Uniphoenix joined the inaugural Toronto Trade Show & Canada-China Business Expo (多伦多商品交易会暨加中企业博览会, “多交会”) as one of its first exhibitors, presenting its dual-engine cross-border strategy linking Canada and China.

As part of JD Worldwide’s partner ecosystem in Canada — JD.com’s global e-commerce platform — Uniphoenix supports JD Worldwide with product sourcing, merchant recruitment, store onboarding, and operational management. This collaboration enables Canadian brands to enter the Chinese market with both strategic guidance and execution, while giving Chinese consumers greater access to high-quality international products.

At the same time, Uniphoenix is driving the introduction of Chinese pet protein innovations into North America. Beginning with insect-based protein—specifically yellow mealworms—the company is building a pet nutrition and health product supply chain in Canada. This initiative reflects global sustainability trends and opens new avenues for agri-food and biotech collaboration between China and Canada.

The inaugural Toronto Trade Show & Canada-China Business Expo, held in Markham, Ontario, combined exhibitions, business forums, cooperation agreements, and company visits. The event attracted nearly 100 Chinese and Canadian enterprises and more than 10,000 visitors. Distinguished attendees included Shaun Chen, Member of the Canadian Parliament; Counselor Linlin Liu, Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto; as well as senior representatives from the Canada-China Business Council and the City of Markham Trade Office.

As a first-time exhibitor at this inaugural event, Uniphoenix not only showcased its dual-engine model of cross-border e-commerce and pioneering work in the pet protein industry, but also reaffirmed its long-term commitment to advancing Canada-China trade and broader international cooperation. The leadership team had active participation in forums and business discussions, sharing hands-on experience in cross-border e-commerce and engaging with institutions and enterprises on opportunities in supply chains, brand expansion, and emerging consumer sectors.

Uniphoenix’s participation at the Toronto Trade Show highlighted its mission of empowering global growth through cross-border innovation and market connectivity. The company remains committed to working with its business partners to bring more Canadian brands to China, open North American markets to Chinese innovations, and create sustainable pathways for international trade and industry cooperation.
